Guidelines for contributors

Contributors are expected to provide the most substantial findings of complete and original work. Papers must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere and are not currently under consideration by another journal. All manuscripts submitted should be in electronic form.

The text itself should not exceed 20 manuscript pages in length (total approx. 35 000 characters, including spaces, in Times New Roman 14 pt, with 1.5 line spacing). Information about the author should also be provided (surname, full first name, patronymic, academic degree, academic title, position, institutional affiliations, corresponding address, email address). The abstract of not more than 500 characters including spaces should appear before the main text of the paper, as well as keywords in Russian and English. The title of the article, the surname and the first name of the author should also be given in Russian and English. Universal Decimal Classification number is further required. References at the end of the text should be listed consecutively in the order that they appear in the manuscript. The in-text references are indicated by numbers in square brackets.  Non-standard abbreviations are to be avoided. Illustrations can be embedded in text or submitted as a separate digital file. Charts, map-schemes are accepted in JPG format as black and white images, while for graphs and diagrams Excel is recommended.
